WherE ii ResidE

the city ii live in is jammed packed with facts, myths, and interesting over looked historical artifacts that have the opportunity to affect any one's life even in the smallest way.

yesterday i took the journey into downtown Dc to do the tourist thing and explore the many monuments that our country has very proudly built themselves on. first ill say ...its not that close together so if you ever go , DON'T TRY AND BE CUTE..wear comfortable shoes..lol its alot of walking...but other than that its absolutely amazing..almost life altering..i mean the architecture of the majority of the building were beautiful..so many elaborate sculptures and different nifty designs attached to and away from the building that are so particular and thought out that made me really appreciate the country i live in and protect for . there is so much knowledge to be learned with in such a small city and area. the only disappointing thing was that the white house has like a six month waiting list!!! i know, ridiculous....i just wanted to see Obama, my boss...lol... but oh well its okay maybe next time..and it was a tad smidge cold so that had an affect on our journey through the city as well....

on a lighter note i did meet some pretty cool people down in DC.. we went to this little hole in the wall bar...sat around and had some Irish coffee :) and talked to the locals..lol some hilarious people,... you never will realize how different the south and the north is until you've experienced them both .... there i was sitting down enjoying myself and warming up my fat fingers and this fully dreaded male walks up to me and starts chatting, okay no biggie im cool with small talk...plus i had my friends with me so I'm good money... so there we are talking about the basketball game on the tube, and i think i said the word "y'all" in the conversation...lol he stops what hes saying mid convo and asked me where in from.... like bluntly .. i was like Louisiana... he stood up and gave me a hug.....!!! lol now awkwardly enough i pushed off him and asked if that was necessary...he said im so sorry for what happend to your state...lol i was like thanks but were cool now lol.... then he went on talking about how hes from new york and how they do things... needless to say up north is no down south..... fun times alll fun times :) but...............moral of the story is i had fun...the end...lol

without hesitation

trufely yours tukemz <3>
